Today’s post is for the GOOD OLD GUYS of black metal. ROOT is an institution when it comes to black metal from eastern europe. Pioneers, if you will.
The band formed way back in 1987, in the Czech Republic. Yeah, if you like ROOT you should check out the other Czech band on this page Master’s Hammer. 
Today’s album was released in 1991, but it was rereleased in 2001 with some additional bonus tracks, and rereleased again with some other bonus tracks. This is the album you’ll find here, the one from 2008.
